National Banking Institute (NBI), The Banking Academy of Nepal launched one of its most successful programs namely Comprehensive Banking Course in three locations simultaneously in regional level Butwal, Pokhara and Birtamod. With this initiative banks are now able to train outside valley staff on a regular basis.
NBI is soon launching this course in other major cities such as Biratnagar, Nepalgunj, Dhangadi, Chitwan and Birgunj.
This 6 full days or 18 morning session program has been designed by a team of professionals including management level staff of NBI, top executives of BFIs, HR and Departmental Heads with inputs from regulators. This course has taken in to consideration international practices as well as local requirements. Account Services, Remittance, Credit, Sales, Customer Service, Cards, Signature Verification and Operation Risk are the major contents of the program. A pool of seasoned bankers is leading the course in respective cities.
The program is fruitful for newly recruited and entry level staff which captures the required skill set needed at the core of human capital development of the banking industry.
