National Banking Institute is holding its Sixth Annual General Meeting on January 13, 2015. 

National Banking Institute (NBI) is hosting a power talk session with Mr. K. Ram Kumar, Executive Director of ICICI Bank and president of ICICI foundation from India on December 18th amidst a grand function in Kathmandu.

Prior to joining ICICI Bank in 2001, Mr. Ramkumar has served companies such as Hindustan Aeronautics, Brookebond Lipton India Limited (now Hindustan Unilever Limited) and ICI India Ltd. His work in these companies has mainly been in the areas of Human Resources Management and Manufacturing.

Financial Institutions are vulnerable to various risk factors both internal and external. The present global scenario and our own local context are not excluded from the crisis and challenges that these risk factors could pose a question mark not only to the future of the financial industry but is a threat to national and regional economy. With this in mind NBTI organized a two-day Management Development Program on “Bank Risk Management” on 14 and 15 May 2010 at Radisson Hotel. Dr. Supreeya Pipatmanomai from Thailand facilitated the program.
