AML/CFT and CPF
Compliance with AML/CFT and CPF regulations is an ongoing commitment for financial institutions. Implementing a high-quality, yet cost-effective training program across all staff levels can significantly mitigate risks for the institution. The National Banking Institute (NBI) has introduced an e-learning-based AML/CFT and CPF Certification Course in Nepal developed locally to enhance the knowledge and skills of the workforce within Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs). This Certification Course in AML/CFT and CPF has been developed through comprehensive consultations with industry practitioners and AML/CFT experts to ensure it meets the specific needs of the sector.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: The main objective of the course is to educate all levels of staff within Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs) on fundamental concepts and practices related to AML, CFT and CPF thereby enhancing organizational compliance with national and international regulatory frameworks, safeguarding institutional integrity, and protecting the institution from these risks.
VALIDITY OF REGISTRATION: The course remains valid for two months, which encompasses the completion of two examination attempts.
TARGET GROUP: All staff working in BFIs, particularly those in the Compliance and AML/CFT Unit, front-line and customer-facing staff, as well as other staff involved in regular AML/CFT duties.
