Annual General Meeting

National Banking Institute (NBI) has successfully concluded Seventh Annual General Meeting on October 9, 2015. The annual general meeting has passed the Directors Report along with Auditor Report comprising balance sheet, income and expenses detail and profit and loss statement of fiscal year 071/72 presented by Mr. Shovan Dev Pant, Chairman. The meeting has also passed the resolution to distribute 10% cash dividend on paid up capital to shareholders as proposed by Board of Directors.

On the occasion of Annual General Meeting, Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Maha Prasad Adhikari launched one of its most awaited professional banking certification course "Junior Associates National Banking Institute (JANBI)". This course was developed in technical collaboration with Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). This certification course will provide an edge that will prove to be crucial in banking career and will be an essential stepping stone for one to progress to the Banking Career. It is a comprehensive banking course addressing to employees of banks and financial institutions and other interested individuals.

NBI's professional banking certification JANBI is in line with globally accepted banking qualification standard and its syllabus captures up to date banking knowledge and expertise essential for new generation bankers.

In a short history of five years the institute has earned solid name & reputation in banking landscape in Nepal. We reached out to Birtamod in Far East and Mahendranagar in Far West frontier through 800 programs and 18,000 plus participants.
