NBTI jointly with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) presents two days workshop on “Incoterms” which stands for International commercial terms widely practiced by banks, importers and exporters around the world. The two-day seminar will be very useful for professionals working in the trade finance sector and dealing with documentary collections, documentary credits and bank guarantees. Bank and commercial lawyers will gain an insight into developments in Letter of credits and bank guarantees. The seminars will be also very valuable to business people active in export and trade finance, investment projects etc.
Nepal relies on import to meet its domestic consumption and majority of these imports are through Letter of Credits issued by bank in Nepal. Hence the significance of this workshop being led by senior ICC expert Mr. Pavel Andrle who has delivered this top notch workshop around the world. Mr. Pavel has played instrumental role in developing contents for UCP 600 which is a collection of ICC rules widely practiced by banks worldwide including in Nepal. The workshop will be held in Kathmandu on 3rd and 4th July 2012.
