NBI in association with Fintelekt is pleased to present a one day conference on Asset Liability Management on 25th September, 2018 in Kathmandu. The increasing trend of market risk has brought pressure on the banks management to maintain a good balance in profitability and long term-viability. Due to these pressures the banks need to plan their corporate strategy for decision making on a dynamic and integrated risk management system & process

The conference sessions has been designed in consultation with the Treasury Heads of various Banks responsible for the major financial risk management challenges within their banks. The topics related to the Asset Liability management will be presented by International seasoned experts as well as the local industry experts followed by the panel discussion to take the best advantage of the learning and sharing opportunity at large.

The conference brings the speakers who are seasoned experts, namely Mr. Charan Rawat, Former Chief Governance Officer, Barclays Bank India with 32 years of experience in banking with international banks such as SCB and ANZ Grindlays. His expertise in the risk management plan , entails the role of check and challenged process with various risk owners responsible for Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Legal & Compliance Risk, Market Risk, Financial Crime Compliance Risk, Technology Risk, Operational Risk, Business Strategy & Reputational Risk. Similarly, Mr. K. Mohan Bhakta, Executive Director of Weizmann Forex Ltd., has years of experience in functioning of Risk Management, Treasury, Compliance, Audit, Internal Control, HR and Accounts Departments.
