Microfinance Certification Course

National Banking Institute has introduced this certification course to strengthen the knowledge and skills of professionals working in Microfinance Institutions. The program is designed to equip participants with essential and practical insights necessary for effectively carrying out their daily responsibilities in a professional manner. The course content has been carefully developed with consideration of the local context of Nepal and the specific needs of Nepalese Microfinance Institutions.

Examinations: 

Held quarterly (March, June, Sept, Dec), 2-hour duration, Paper/Online -based exams held in multiple city centers with OMR sheets. Candidate will be required to pass the examination within the validity period.

Exam dates: 

Exam dates are announced 15 days in advance.

Additional Examination Attempts: 

In case a candidate fails in 2 attempts, he/she may attempt up to two more attempt with an additional fee but within the validity period of 12 months. Candidate/s failing in such extra attempts also will have to re-enroll.

Question Format: 

Exam consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Results & Certification: 

Results are published within one week on our website, and certificates are issued within 15 days of the exam date.

Language of the course: 

The course is conducted in Nepali language.

Advanced Credit Certification Program (ACCP)

Introduction: The Advanced Credit Certification Program (ACCP), initiated by NBI, aims to enhance the credit capabilities of professionals in Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs). It offers a structured learning experience combining theoretical foundations with practical application. The program addresses the need for advanced skills in analysis, report writing, presentations, and query handling. CANBI

NBI had launched JANBI, the first professional banking certification course in Nepal, on 9th October 2015 which has emerged as a very popular program in this sector. Next, higher level of certification course, Chartered Associate of National Banking Institute (CANBI) has been developed and launched.

CANBI ,an advanced level of the certification course, is expected to be instrumental in contributing to the industry in polishing banking knowledge of the banking professionals and inducing the traits of true banking leaders for the benefit of the industry as a whole.

Similar to JANBI, CANBI too has been a product developed in collaboration with Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF), Mumbai, India. IIBF, a pioneer institute of more than 96 years old contributing in this sector in India and other markets , certifies a number of banking courses in India and in various SAARC and African countries, organizes trainings and carries out research works.

VALIDITY OF REGISTRATION

The course remains valid for one year, which encompasses the completion of four examination attempts. This period commences from the date of the examination following enrollment and lasts until the completion of four examination attempts. However, if a candidate skips the examination immediately following enrollment, the validity period will begin from the second examination date after enrollment and continue until the completion of four examination attempts

Janbi

National Banking Institute (NBI) has conducted 3000+ training programs with 90,000 plus banking professionals trained. NBI has launched a professional Banking Certification Course JANBI (Junior Associate of National Banking Institute) for the first time in Nepal.

Objective
